Cheers Cheerio! Sláinte! Prost! A votre sante!

Tomorrow, I depart for my first adventure abroad. I am a bundle of excitement and nerves (you know the usual for me). I will be traveling with a friend from college named Dave. Images of these new, yet familiar places are racing through my mind. I have been waiting so many months (and, really years) for this moment. I have decided to reconnect with this old blog, in order to keep people updated on my travels. My intent is to start a photo blog, uploading one photo a day while traveling. But- I am not too sure how/what my internet service/computer will allow while traveling and WWOOFing*. Either way I promise to post a few words (even sentences) explaining my adventures, sights, steps, and tastes.

Munich, Germany: August 1st-August 5th

Paris, France: August 5th-August 9th

Depart home: August 9th

Something to Chew On

Thoreau once said,



“Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit,

I think his words are sticky, and sweet. It requires the art of balancing.

A Moment in Time:

This image may seem simple, but I love it! It is so pleasing. I decided to capture this moment because of the sterile cold guardrail and the contrast between its natural surroundings. The vines are encasing the rail. Nature is taking over this man-made item, swallowing it whole. But the colors are vital reds and blues that are springing to life. There is power.
